Campaign Finance Information
Reporting and Filing Periods
In any calendar year during which there is a regularly scheduled election, or a special election, at which any candidates, measures, questions or propositions appear or may appear on the ballot, the political committee shall file each of the following campaign finance reports. (A.R.S. §§ 16-913(B) and 16-913(C))

Aug. 13 thru Sept. 21, 2009 Sept. 22 thru Oct. 1, 2009Pre-Election Report (Special Council Election) Sept. 22 thru Oct. 14, 2009 Oct. 15 thru Oct. 22, 2009 Post-Election Report (Special Council Election) Oct. 15 thru Nov. 23, 2009 Nov. 24 thru Dec. 3, 2009*Pre-Election Report (Runoff Election) Nov. 24, 2009 thru Feb. 17, 2010 Feb. 18 thru Feb. 25, 2010 *Post-Election Report (Runoff Election) Feb. 18 thru March 29, 2010 March 30 thru April 8, 2010*If a Runoff Election is not necessary, the Pre-Election and Post-Election Reports for that Election are not required.
Under current State law, unless a special election is called, the next report will be due by January 31, 2011 for the reporting period of Nov. 24, 2009 (or March 30, 2010 if a Runoff Election is required) thru Dec. 31, 2010.

Filing by mail
All required campaign finance reports must be filed with the City Clerk by the deadline date to avoid penalties for late filing. If filed by mail, to be considered received on time, the report must be mailed via certified mail with a United States mail postmark date no later than the deadline date. (A.R.S. § 16-916)
