Downtown Phoenix is a great place to work; boasting the highest concentration of employment in the Valley with over 55,000 employees in a 1.5 square mile area. Phoenix’s urban center is home to the state’s largest cluster of banks, law firms, consulting firms and government agencies. In the past decade, downtown Phoenix has added almost four million square feet of office space.
- Collier Center, a $500 million, 23-story office tower, includes 511,000 square feet of space and 90,000 square feet of retail, and parking for over 1,500 vehicles.
- Phelps Dodge Tower is the corporate headquarters of Fortune 500 Company, Phelps Dodge. The 20-story tower opened in 2001 and contains 460,000 square feet of office space, 10,000 square feet of retail space, and 975 on-site parking spaces.
- Renaissance Square is an office development consisting of two Class A towers. One Renaissance includes 450,000 square feet of office space and 40,000 square feet of retail space and was completed in 1987. Completed in 1990, Two Renaissance has 475,000 square feet of office and 15,000 square feet of retail space.
- Chase Tower built in the early 1970’s as the Valley Bank Center, is 483 feet high, making it the tallest building in Arizona.
- 101 North First Avenue is an 355,608 square foot high-rise office building in the heart of Downtown Phoenix is the second tallest building in Arizona . 101 North recently underwent a $3.9 Million renovation including streetscape, common areas, main lobby, multi-tenant corridors, and restroom improvements.
- Arizona Center is an 18-acre, mixed-use urban redevelopment project. The Center includes approximately 1 million square feet of Class A office space, shops and restaurants, a 24-screen movie theater, and parking for approximately 2,000 vehicles. The Center has two office pads for development.
