Rio Salado/Beyond the Banks

The Phoenix Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Project will revitalize 580 acres of the Rio Salado into a community, environmental and recreational asset by restoring the Salt River to its natural state and will include amenities such as ten miles of recreational and interpretive trails and an Audubon Nature Center. Exciting development opportunities exist within the more than 4,400 acres of land Beyond the Banks of the Rio Salado Project.

Community Business Development Program
We provide services to developers, retailers, brokers and design professionals who:

  • are interested or involved in community retail/commercial projects
  • provide services to mature un-served/under-served neighborhoods
  • remove blight from existing retail/commercial centers
  • redevelop retail/commercial centers in transition
