Rudy's passion for helping others shows through his volunteer efforts to several organizations. He has worked with the School for the Deaf, Burton Barr Central Library and St. Vincent de |  |
Paul. He also participates in many clubs including the National Honor Society and Academic Decathlon.
Rudy chose a middle school teacher as the most influencial in his life, as Mrs. Steinbeck brought out the extroverted young man we honor with this award.

Amy Stabler, Overall Outstanding Young Woman

A senior at Thunderbird High School, Amy volunteers at the Life Care Center of North Glendale and works with Alzheimers patients as well as general residents. Along with this shining example |  |
of community service, she also holds the title of president of her school Science Club, participates in the Brain Bee and track.
The teacher who has impacted Amy the most is Mr. Parker who has been both a mentor and a friend.
