Jorge Alvarez is a junior at South Mountain High School. He has been involved with student government and enjoys the affect students can have on the surrounding community. While carrying a 4.286 GPA he has committed himself to the school's baseball team.

Maribel is a senior at South Mountain High School. She volunteers at the Hacienda de Los Angeles and St Vincent de Paul during the holidays. She has also taken an interest in law through the Law Magnet Program. In the future, Maribel would like to become a probation or police officer.
