Assistant Chief Mark Angle

Chief Angle is a native Phoenician, and a 24 year veteran of the Phoenix Fire Department.  He currently serves as the Assistant Chief of Human Resources overseeing the Training Academy, Personnel Services, Health & Wellness Center, and Safety Section. Before his promotion to Assistant Chief, Mark worked as a Chief and Company Officer within several sections of the PFD including Personnel, Public Information, and the Training Academy.

Chief Angle has served as an instructor at the annual FDIC conference, and was a member of the adjunct faculty for the Maricopa Community College District for over ten years.

Chief Angle is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Fire Service Institute, as well as ASU’s Institute for Public Executives.  Mark is currently enrolled in Arizona State University’s Certified Public Managers program.
