FIRE PREVENTION - PHOENIX FIRE CODE


The Phoenix Fire Code ("the code") provides minimum fire and life safety standards for buildings, fire protection equipment installation and processes in Phoenix. The Phoenix Fire Code is a companion code to the International Codes which were adopted by the Development Services Department establishing the construction requirements for all development in the City of Phoenix.

The effective date of the 2006 International Fire Code with Phoenix Amendments is
August 1, 2007. The Code is available for purchase from: International Code Council.
