DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Curriculum and Training Coordinator assigned to Supervisory Development is responsible for citywide coordination and administration of the supervisory development or language training programs. Duties include developing program curriculum, content, and design as well as consulting with City management, City departments and other organizations on supervisory, language training, cultural, and diversity issues. In addition, incumbents may facilitate manager and executive level retreats and/or training sessions, and participate as members of the Leadership Development Team.

The higher level of responsibility and coordination involved in developing citywide language training, supervisory, and organizational leadership programs, supervision of clerical and administrative staff, and level of interaction with executive and middle manager positions distinguish this assignment from the base class.
