Legislation and Lobbying

Have you ever wanted to get involved at the State Legislature but didn't know how? Has there ever been an issue you wanted to have a say in but didn't know the best way to get involved and make a difference? Have you ever read about a legislative bill in the paper and didn't know who to call to learn more about it?

You have a resource who can help you!

The city of Phoenix Office of Government Relations works with neighborhoods across the city to encourage their involvement in the state legislative process. We can help you learn more about:

  • how to get involved in the legislative process
  • how a bill becomes law
  • workshops on the legislative process and lobbying the legislature
  • adding your name to the database of interested citizens to receive timely information on legislative bills.

If you have a questions about the legislature or would like to have a staff member speak to your neighborhood group, call us at 602-256-4257.
