Loan periods and renewals
Books, compact discs, audiocassettes 21 days
Videocassettes 7 days

Library materials may be renewed if the item has not been requested by another library user. Renewals may be done in person, online, or by calling (602) 534-6666 on a touch tone phone. Requests and holds

If you are unable to find the book on the shelf, ask at the reference desk and a librarian may be able to locate the book elsewhere in the library system.

If the item you want is unavailable, you may request that the item be placed on hold with your library card. You will be notified by phone or mail; as you indicate when you first sign up for a card. The item will be held for pickup up to 10 days from the date the notice was sent, at the library you designate.

Overdue fines

Books, compact discs, audiocassettes and teen items 20 cents per day
Videos 20 cents per day
Juvenile items 10 cents per day
Lost/damaged items cost of item plus $5
Replacement of lost/ stolen card $2

Maximum overdue charges are: $10 per adult or young adult item; $10 per videocassette; $5.00 per children's item; or the value of the item, whichever is less. The library uses a collection agency to recover materials long overdue.
