Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues

Welcome!

We hope you will learn more about the commission and give us your input. Commission meetings are held at 4:15 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month. If you are interested in volunteering, complete and mail back the Volunteer Questionaire.

Mission
The mission of the Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues is to achieve equality for people with disabilities within the city of Phoenix.

* Members
The Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues includes a variety of gifted individuals who have a diverse set of disabilities and a number of individuals who are advocates for disability issues. Members must live or work in Phoenix.
* Committees
The Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues has three committees devoted to advancing disability awareness, including Architectural Accessibility and Design, Community Awareness and Education, and Transportation and Access. Interested volunteers may serve on any committee.
