Phoenix Mountains Park 2701 E. Squaw Peak Ln. (Enter off of Lincoln Dr., just west of Rt. 51) Open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Dreamy Draw 2421 E.Northern Ave. (Take Northern Ave. exit from Rt. 51) Open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Piestewa Peak is more than just its popular summit trail. The Phoenix Mountains Park and Recreation Area surrounding the peak's base has picnic areas that can accommodate 275 people. The Dreamy Draw area has picnic areas that can be used comfortably by up to 200 people. All picnic ramadas in these areas are first-come, first-served.
