General Plan Amendment Process

The General Plan Amendment Procedure Guidelines provides an overview to the General Plan Amendment process. It covers procedures for both Major and Minor Amendments. The General Plan Amendment Procedures have been established to assist staff, the Planning Commission, and the City Council when reviewing the merits of any amendment application. The "most frequently asked questions" and the "steps to apply for an amendment" are included and should be valuable to any applicant or citizen that is involved in a general plan amendment.
