Museum interpreter talking to a school group about the platfrom mound

Explore an actual thousand year-old Hohokam Indian ruin conveniently located in the heart of the Phoenix metro area. Inside, three galleries offer fascinating exhibits featuring the Hohokam culture and the science of archaeology. Outside you will see actual remains of an 800 year old platform mound the size of a football field and a 1,000 year old ballcourt. In addition, you and your children will get the chance to learn how the Hohokam lived by seeing and entering full-size reproductions of their houses.
