Kids Pride is an annual program that recognizes and rewards the volunteer work of young people (grades 6-12). The Volunteer Center of Maricopa County coordinates the awards program.
Examples of activities that qualify include helping the needy, cleaning up neighborhoods or making them safer, enhancing your school environment or working to build community unity.
To enter, you must meet one of three criteria. Entrants must 1) live in Maricopa County but their project benefits residents in other communities, 2) live elsewhere but the project benefits the Maricopa County community, or 3) live in Maricopa County and conduct their project in Maricopa County.
