Training Programs
Customized Training and OJT are incentive programs that help employers meet their workforce needs while assisting workers to develop or increase their skills. Whether you are expanding or upgrading your workforce, the following programs are available to assist you with your training needs. Customized Employed Worker Training Program
This program provides job training assistance to businesses in the Phoenix area.
- Training grants of up to $10,000 maximum per year to enhance the skill level of their current workforce.
- Designed to meet the specific skill needs of small- to medium-size businesses.
- To access the grant funds, a business must submit an application and provide a 50 percent match, up to the amount of the grant funds requested.
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
This program reimburses part of the training costs when you hire eligible workers.
- Up to 50 percent of an individual's wages for a negotiated period of time may be provided.
- The reimbursement is for the extraordinary costs of providing the training and additional supervision related to the training.
Arizona Job Training Program
