Phoenix City Council District 7 On the Issues

In this episode of “On the Issues,” Councilman Michael Nowakowski is On the Road at Desert Sky Mall.  Join him as he Shops Phoenix in search of the perfect holiday gifts for deputy city managers.  

In previous episodes of “On the Issues,” Councilman Nowakowski highlights Hispanic Heritage Month and the Arizona Latino Arts and Cultural Center in downtown Phoenix.  He talks with the city’s Budget and Research Director Mario Paniagua about the facts on Phoenix’s temporary food tax.  He also learns about the benefits of the new downtown code and the Office of Consumer Advocacy from Planning and Development Services staff.  Also, meets with Cynthia Aguilar from the City Manager’s Office, to discuss My Volunteer Phoenix.

Watch previous episodes about  Maricopa County’s efforts to educate the public on health code violations.  Learn about the beginnings of the city’s Blight Buster program and tips to keep kids safe around water. Leadership helps develop youth into the next generation of leaders and learn about the city’s graffiti task force.
