Village Planning Committee Actions -

Ahwatukee Foothills (1/24/11) – approved
Alhambra (1/25/11) – approved as a work plan, not an update to the General Plan, and not to send to the voters for ratification
Camelback East (2/1/11) – approved as a work plan, not an update to the General Plan, and not to send to the voters for ratification
Central City (2/14/2011) -
Deer Valley (2/17/11) –
Desert View (2/01/11) – recommended denial as presented based on the need for more public involvement and a more substantial, complete document
Encanto (2/07/11) -
Estrella (1/18/11) – approved per staff
Laveen (1/10/11) - recommended approval. To be reconsidered on 2/14/11
Maryvale (1/11/11) – recommended approval with addition of a focus on healthy communities
North Gateway (1/13/11) – recommend approval with direction to reach out to state universities and Thunderbird School of International Management for assistance, and to continue working on phase II of the update
North Mountain (1/19/11) – approved as presented and that work continues for a productive update of the whole General Plan and that all Village Planning Committees receive updates regarding the progress of that work effort a minimum of every six months
Paradise Valley (2/7/11) –
Rio Vista (1/24/11) – approved as presented and that work continues for a productive update of the whole General Plan and that all Village Planning Committees receive updates regarding the progress of that work effort a minimum of every six months
South Mountain (1/11/11) - recommended to deny based on concerns with current schedule
