Council Subcommittees
Councilwoman Neely serves on three City Council subcommittees, one of which she chairs:
- Transportation, Infrastructure and Sustainability Subcommittee, chair
This Subcommittee provides policy guidance on issues related to streets, transportation planning, development services, land use planning, public transit, light rail, infrastructure planning, water, wastewater and solid waste with priority on those issues that maximize city dollars in these areas. - Downtown, Aviation and Economy Subcommittee, member
This Subcommittee provides policy guidance on issues related to the development of the city’s downtown core, the city’s support of sports and events related to sports, the continued development of our airports, equal opportunity and diversity, and the city’s support of the ASU, UofA and Phoenix biomedical campuses with priority on those issues that maximize city dollars in these areas. - Seniors, Family and Youth Subcommittee, member
This Subcommittee provides policy guidance on issues related to seniors, families and youth, including libraries, education, sister cities, and arts and culture with priority on those issues that maximize city dollars in these areas.
