Construction for Capital Improvement Projects

The Contracts Administration Section of the Engineering and Architectural Services (EAS) Department coordinates the construction contracting process for capital improvement construction projects using design-bid-build, job order contracts, design-build, and construction manager at-risk project delivery methods. The section handles all aspects relating to the design-bid-build and job order contracting processes from advertisement through contract award and execution.

For construction manager at-risk and design-build contracting, the section handles the execution of construction scopes of work with firms previously selected for construction project work under a qualifications-based selection process.
