Buying products made of wood certified to conform to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standard contributes towards long-term health and integrity of forest resources, protects wildlife, has a positive impact on air quality, and can comprise part of an overall sustainable green building project.1 FSC-certified wood products range from building materials such as lumber, molding, doors and windows, to non-building material items such as furniture and cabinetry.
