Residents are invited to bring their family and friends to join Councilman Michael Nowakowski for a free Movie in the Park at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Desert Star Park, 8550 W. Encanto Blvd. 

The evening's featured film will be Zookeeper, where a group of zoo animals decide to break its code of silence to help the zookeeper find love.  The film stars Kevin James and Rosario Dawson.
