The Public Works Department will partner with Keep Phoenix Beautiful and dozens of other local organizations for the “I Recycle Phoenix Festival” 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30, at Seventh Avenue and Camelback Road, northwest corner.
This free recycle-palooza offers one convenient location for the shredding and recycling of Christmas trees, old computer hard-drives and personal documents. Plus, recycling of electronics, telephone books, writing instruments (pens, pencils and markers), holiday decorations and lights and much more!
Participating organizations include: city of Phoenix, Keep Phoenix Beautiful, Earth 911, Westech Recyclers, Goodwill Arizona, Batteries Plus, SRP, Arizona Public Service, Verizon Wireless, A to Z Equipment Rentals and Sales, Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, OfficeMax, American Textile Recycling Services, DEX and many others.
