Vice Mayor Neely Announces Upcoming Info and Issues Breakfast Meetings

Vice Mayor Peggy Neely will kick off the District 2 Info and Issues breakfast fall series at 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28. The event is open to all residents and will be held at Roy’s Restaurant at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa, 5350 E. Marriott Drive (north of Deer Valley Road, between Tatum Boulevard and 56th Street).

This month’s speaker will be Cmdr. Geary Brase of the Desert Horizon Precinct to discuss a recent public awareness campaign highlighting crime prevention.

Breakfast dates for the remainder of the year are: Friday, Oct. 3; Thursday, Oct. 30; and Thursday, Dec. 4. A breakfast buffet will be available for $5 per person and beverages are complimentary. Parking will be validated for guests who valet park.
