New Guest Speaker: Join District 3 Councilman Bill Gates for Breakfast Meeting

Residents are invited to attend a free District 3 breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Shadow Mountain Senior Center, 3546 E. Sweetwater Ave.

The breakfast program will include two representatives from Westcor to update residents on Paradise Valley Mall, including the opening of Costco. Karen Peters, the city’s government relations director, will discuss the state budget process as well as the city’s progress in securing federal stimulus funds. To date, the city has been allocated $231 in stimulus dollars.

Originally, the guest speaker was Mayor Phil Gordon, but due to an unexpected conflict he is not able to attend.
