Stay Cool with Free Swimming and Free Popsicles
Councilman Michael Johnson is sponsoring free swimming and popsicles for children at several Valley pools from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, and Thursday, July 23.
On Wednesday, July 15, families can visit the following three pools in District 8:

- Grant Pool, 714 S. Second Ave.,
- Harmon Pool, 1239 S. Fifth Ave.,
- Alkire Pool, 1617 W. Papago St.
On Thursday, July 23, another set of pools in his district will offer free swimming and popsicles:

- Hermosa Pool, 5749 S. 20th St.,
- Eastlake Pool, 1549 E. Jefferson St.,
- Pierce Pool, 2150 N. 46th St.
