Phoenix Police Digest: a quarterly summary

Each year the Phoenix Police Department prepares an annual summary reflecting statistics and programs that were significant over the previous year. In an effort to provide more current and useful information, a quarterly document named Phoenix Police Digest will replace the annual summary. The Digest is a summary that provides statistics showing crime rate direction for both property and violent crimes, including subcategories on specific crimes. In addition to crime statistics, a section of the Phoenix Police Digest is devoted to information featuring crime prevention, tips for personal safety, education and any other relevant topic. Precincts may use that section of the flyer to include any timely community topics relevant to their respective areas. Those will also be posted on the precinct page within phoenix.gov. Phoenix Police Digest is available for citizens to print the document for distribution at community meetings and events.
