Man kidnapped at Dairy Queen

A man disappeared on New Year’s Eve after he was forcibly removed from a taxicab at a Dairy Queen located at 4809 N. 75th Avenue. At approximately 11:19 a.m. the cab he called arrived and after he got inside, an early 2000 model maroon Mitsubishi Galant, with a partial AZ plate of ADY, pulled in front of the cab and blocked it from leaving. An unknown Hispanic man, who was approximately 5’5” tall, with a medium build and thin moustache began yelling at the unknown victim in Spanish. The suspect physically removed the victim from the cab, placing him in a headlock and forcing him into the Mitsubishi Galant which was driven by a second Hispanic male, 17 – 20 years old. This vehicle then left north on 75th Avenue.

The victim’s identity is unknown at this time. He is described as a 40 – 50 year-old Hispanic male with a beard, 5’0” – 5’5” tall with a medium build and moustache. Although no weapons were seen by witnesses, the suspect who removed the victim from the cab kept one of his hands in his pocket the entire time, leading witnesses to believe he was concealing a weapon.
