Homicide at 3800 N. 30th Street

On June 18th, 2009 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Phoenix Police Officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of 3800 N. 30th Street. When officers arrived, they found 35 year-old Damion Gosa shot several times inside his apartment.

Investigators determined that the suspect kicked in the back door of the victim’s apartment, demanded money, then shot and killed the victim. The suspect also located a female in the apartment and also demanded money from her but fled through the front door of the apartment after the female refused to respond.
Detectives have identified two suspects in this incident. Both are described as Black males, 25-30 years’ old, and 6 feet tall. One suspect was seen wearing a “Do rag” and a black and white horizontally striped shirt. The second suspect was wearing dark clothing. A white Ford Expedition or Explorer may be the suspect vehicle.

Both suspects remain outstanding at this time and investigators are asking for help from the community.
