Sexual Assault / Identity Theft

Jeffrey Graybill On September 17, 2009 the Phoenix Police Department assisted detectives from the Los Angeles California Police Department with arresting Jeffrey Graybill and serving a search warrant at his apartment in north Phoenix.  Graybill had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Los Angeles for multiple felony counts which included sexual battery by fraud and identity theft.  During the service of the search warrant items of evidentiary value were located.

During Graybill’s interview with LAPD detectives he admitted to involvement in similar crimes in the Phoenix metropolitan area.  Detectives from the Phoenix Police Department then interviewed him further about these crimes.  Graybill posed as a fertility doctor and posted ads on Craigslist for semen donations and several people responded to this ad.

This local investigation identified several additional victims.  One victim of identity theft was a medical doctor in Scottsdale.  There are four additional sexual assault victims from Phoenix, Glendale and Tempe.  The investigation is still active and efforts are being made to contact a possible fifth sexual assault victim.

There may be additional victims; anyone who may have been in contact with Mr. Graybill concerning sperm donations or via Craig’s List should contact Detective James Newhouse @ (602)534-3040 or the Phoenix Police Department @ (602)262-6151.
