At around 9:40 p.m., on Wednesday Phoenix Police Officers proceeded to an apartment complex at 150 E. Virginia Avenue in response to a cutting. The victim's neighbors reported hearing noises come from his apartment and, upon checking on him, found him bleeding from what was later determined to be a stab type injury.
The 64 year-old victim was transported by Phoenix Fire rescue to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Phoenix police detectives have very little information regarding this investigation at this time and they are attempting to identify a next of kin for the victim.
