The Phoenix Transit Plan
The Phoenix Transit Plan includes RAPID, METRO - Light Rail Transit, improvements to local bus service and Dial-a-Ride service, the Ahwatukee Local EXplorer - a neighborhood circulator, new technology for trip planning and bus scheduling, and other support services. The Citizens Transit Commission was created to oversee expenditure of funds from the Transit 2000 tax approved by Phoenix voters.
