Coming Soon: Light Rail Sky Harbor Connection

Take a free bus to Sky Harbor’s terminals from the light rail transfer station on the southwest corner of 44th Street and Washington beginning Dec. 29, 2008, when the METRO light rail system is up and running.

The buses to and from 44th Street and Washington will run during the same hours as METRO light rail, will have space for luggage like Sky Harbor’s Rental Car Center buses and will stop at each terminal every ten minutes.

This free bus service will provide a major convenience to the millions of passengers and thousands of employees who will transfer to and from Light Rail at 44th Street and Washington, without inconveniencing other Light Rail passengers. Light rail would have needed to make up to seven additional stops if it had been routed through the Airport.

You can pick up a copy of the Bus Book that contains schedules and routes at the Information Desk in any terminal, or visit www.valleymetro.org.
