Summer Youth Work Experience Program SYWEP
The 2008 city of Phoenix Summer Youth Work Experience Program (SYWEP) application submittal process has closed. Applications are no longer being accepted.
Submitted applications will be screened for accuracy and placed in the lottery selection pool. Lottery selections will be conducted the week of May 12-16. After participant selections have been made, interview appointments will be scheduled by the summer youth agency. The summer youth agency will contact those selected to participate by telephone. Participants will be asked to bring documentation to their scheduled interview.
Youth applicants not selected for the program will be notified by the Youth Services Division by mail. Non-selected applications will remain on file for the 2008 summer program until all placement slots have been filled.

Note: Recruitment for the 2009 program will begin the first week of April 2009.
