Meet the supervisor

Executive Director Moshe Bukshpan

I am the founder of the Red Rocks Music Festival, which was established in 2002. Born in Israel, I started to play the violin at the age of 8. In 1976, came to the United States and received a Master's degree in violin performance from Northern Il. University. I moved to Phoenix in 1982 and have been teaching and performing since. I strive to have the best possible artists and faculty at our festival. I am very direct and honest, while open to receiving feedback and new ideas for reaching a broader audience.
