Artist Roberto Delgado and assistant Rene Trujillo painted the two murals on the north and south sides of McDowell Road.  The imagery depicts an aerial view of the prehistoric Hohokam Salt River irrigation system combined with streetscape elements of the surrounding neighborhood and McDowell Road, circa 1950. ​
