Silent SundaySilent SundayParks and Recreation<div class="ExternalClass63B01CEED91C4DAEB0B9AB450E66CCF9"><p>​On Silent Sunday (the fourth Sunday of the month), roadways in South Mountain Park/Preserve are closed to motor vehicle traffic, reserving them for non-motorized activities such as walking, cycling, jogging and hiking. <span aria-hidden="true"></span></p><div><div><div class="ExternalClassA1077384541C4708B1EB9015C412ED36"><p>Through December 2019, the Parks and Recreation Department will operate a pilot program that expands the Silent Sunday event to every Sunday of the month.
