<div class="ExternalClass9DB4A66D465F422FAD28AEEC0742DA09"><div><p>Avoid the large crowd that attends the APS Electric Light Parade by participating in this free pre-parade event held in the parking lot of North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 N. Central Ave. </p><div class="ExternalClassC82802FA9AED430BBAD88B0195C20978"><p>This event is designed for families to see the floats close-up during judging. <span spellcheck="false" data-offset-key="81mur-1-0"><span data-offset-key="81mur-1-0"><span data-text="true">Arizona State University Special Event Management Program</span></span></span><span data-offset-key="81mur-2-0"><span data-text="true"> students provide </span></span>an interactive area where youth can play games, do arts and crafts, and see Santa Claus.</p><p>The 33rd annual parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. Comprehensive parade information is available at <a href="/parks/elp">Phoenix.gov/ELP</a>. Use the hashtag <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23phxlightparade&ref_src=twsrc%5etfw" target="_blank">#PhxLightParade</a> on social media to interact and stay informed.</p><p>The theme of this year's parade is "Walking in a Desert Wonderland."</p></div></div></div>
