APS Electric Light Parade | APS Electric Light Parade | Parks and Recreation | <div class="ExternalClass87B2B7BFA068492FB75320E81D3C76D0"><p>For more than three decades, the <a href="/parks/elp">APS Electric Light Parade</a>, presented by the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, has been an event where families, neighborhood groups and businesses from across the city come together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season. <br></p><p>This year’s 34th annual parade, which is typically held on the first Saturday in December, will be modified and presented as a televised and video streamed-only experience.<br></p><p>Despite this temporary change due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will still include all the excitement and cherished traditions of the in-person event that attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators annually. <br></p><p>Media partner <a href="https://www.abc15.com/" target="_blank">ABC15 Arizona</a> is scheduled to air a 60-minute special holiday presentation on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m., that will include video from the 2019 parade along with new content and holiday messages from community leaders and organizations. </p><p>The program will re-air on ABC15 Arizona on Christmas Day (Friday, Dec. 25), and also be broadcast on <a href="https://www.abc15.com/cw61arizona" target="_blank">CW61 Arizona</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/cityofphoenixaz" target="_blank">PHXTV (Ch. 11)</a> during the month of December.
