Live Virtual Public Meeting: 35th Ave. Safety & Improvement ProjectsLive Virtual Public Meeting: 35th Ave. Safety & Improvement ProjectsStreet Transportation<div class="ExternalClass9493831DDBE24C91B6D9E157FA70E4A4"><p>The <a href="/streets/" target="_blank">Phoenix Street Transportation Department</a> invites you to learn about two safety improvement projects along 35th Avenue between Interstate-10 and Glendale Avenue. <br></p><p>Project 1: The 35th Avenue Safety Corridor BUILD Grant project includes traffic signal upgrades at nine intersections, and street lighting and pedestrian safety improvements between I-10 and Camelback Road. </p><p>Project 2: The 35th Avenue from Camelback Road to Glendale Avenue project includes modernizing traffic signals to add flashing yellow turn arrows, as well as street lighting improvements.​<br></p><p>A live virtual public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 29 at 6 p.m. via Webex.
