<div class="ExternalClass55735A62C41A45F9AC2E4FC8405A2F5B"><p>In September 2022, Phoenix City Council approved a comprehensive <a href="/streets/roadsafety"><strong>Vision Zero Road Safety Action Plan</strong></a> and the allocation of $10 million in annual funding for its implementation. The City Council decision also approved formation of an 11-member <a href="https://boards.phoenix.gov/Home/BoardsDetail/82"><strong>Vision Zero Community Advisory Committee </strong></a>, which will provide feedback and recommendations about how the Plan is facilitated. </p><p>The members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council. The committee also includes non-voting members who are students from local high schools and colleges/universities.</p><p>The meeting agenda, which includes instructions about how to participate virtually via phone or Webex, will be posted on the <a href="/cityclerk/publicmeetings/notices"><strong>Public Meeting Notices</strong></a> webpage at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting date. </p><p style="text-align:center;"><strong>*** Please note, meeting end time is approximate. ***</strong></p></div>
