Assistant City Manager

​​Assistant City Manager Deanna Jonovich has worked for the City of Phoenix since 2000. Deanna previously served as the Deputy City Manager, Human Services Director and has worked in a variety of management positions in the Human Services Department. Prior to joining the City of Phoenix, she was the Community Services Director for four years in Gila County. Deanna assisted with the creation of the first Arizona Fuel Fund to assist low-income individuals and families with utility assistance.

She has a master's degree in administration and undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, both from Northern Arizona University.

Ms. Jonovich remains very active in the community and currently serves on Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown Phoenix, Inc.
