Deputy City Manager Lisa Takata is the City Manager's liaison to the Phoenix Employment Relations Board (PERB) and chairs several citywide committees on behalf of the City Manager's Office.
Takata began her service to the city in 1987 as a management intern and has since worked in the Community and Economic Development Department (1988-1990), the Phoenix City Council Office (1990-1993), Government Relations Office (1993-1999) and the City Manager's Office (1999-Present)as a Project Management Assistant, Project Manager, Management Assistant III, Assistant to the City Manager and Executive Assistant to the City Manager. Takata earned her Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/Urban Affairs from UCLA, Los Angeles.
