My office is dedicated to helping every businessperson in this district, and in Phoenix, add one or more employees to their business. I recognize that it is a trying time for most residents, but by working together to streamline the development process we can make Phoenix the most business-friendly city in the nation.
In 2009, Vice Mayor Simplot and I sat on the Development Services ad hoc Committee. This committee brainstormed ideas and innovative methods to simplify commercial and residential development. In December, the City Council approved the committee's suggestions to streamline business services.
