Artlink First Fridays brings the city together and is the nation's largest, self-guided art walk touring more than 70 galleries, venues and art-related spaces. Downtown Phoenix is home to some of Arizona's biggest teams including:

 The Valley is also home to the NFL's AZ Cardinals and the NHL's AZ Coyotes and the Maryvale Baseball Park, a spring training facility for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Hiking & Mountain Biking

Phoenix is surrounded by scenic mountains. The city boasts more than 41,000 acres of desert and mountain preserves offering everything from exciting, intensive summit climbs to quiet, peaceful valley walks. 41 trailheads provide access to more than 200 miles of trails. ​

Community Spaces​

In Phoenix, you're never far from green spaces with lush trees. There are over 180 spacious parks located across the city including one of the largest municipal park in North America, the South Mountain Park Preserve. The city also boast recreational activities for people of all ages.

  • ​29 Community Pools
  • 7 Urban Fishing Ponds

Arts & Culture

In Phoeni​​x, there's never a dull moment. Stroll through the Desert Botanical Garden, home to thousands of beautiful desert cacti, trees, and flowers. Or catch a first-class show at the historic Orpheum theatre. And on First Fridays, you can walk through the Roosevelt Arts District to see paintings and murals created by local Phoenix artist.
