The reinvestment team works with highly successful businesses looking to reinvest in Phoenix. We have three major focus areas at this time: Downtown Phoenix, Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix Campus, and the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. These three focus areas are strategicly linked by their focus on the urban core and creating wealth-generating jobs that aid in the reinvestment in underdeveloped communities.

Downtown Phoenix

Downtown Phoenix is the heart of the Phoenix metropolitan area. From 2006 to 2011, approximately $4 billion of private and public capital will have been invested in the 1.5 square mile downtown area. In addition to the to the 83,000 workers who make downtown their daytime home, more than 10 million people visit the areas many cultural, sports, and entertainment venues each year. Learn more...

Phoenix Biomedical Campus

The city of Phoenix is committed to furthering the well being of our citizens through biomedical research and direct patient care. The city-owned Phoenix Biomedical Campus (PBC) is a 28-acre urban medical and bioscience campus planned for more than six million square feet of biomedical-related research, academic and clinical facilities. Reinvest Button - ASU 

ASU Downtown Campus

Arizona State University (ASU) is partnering with the city of Phoenix to develop the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus, thanks to a $223 million commitment from Phoenix voters in the 2006 bond election. At build-out, the campus will be home to 15,000 students, 4,000 beds, 1.5 million square feet of academic and support space, 900,000 square feet of private development, at least 1,800 faculty and staff and 100,000 visitors annually.
