Executive Assistant Chief Mark Angle
Chief Angle is a native Phoenician. He began his career with the Phoenix Fire Department in 1984. He currently serves as the Executive Assistant Chief assisting the Fire Chief with the daily operations of the Fire Department. Chief Angle also oversees the management of the Human Resources Section.
As an Assistant Chief, Mark has managed several divisions and sections within the department including the Training Academy, Health Center, Resource Management, South Operations, Aviation, Public Information, Community Involvement, Safety, Fleet, Facilities and Human Resources.
Chief Angle worked in every operational capacity as a Firefighter and Captain before promoting to Battalion Chief in 2003. Mark has served as an instructor at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC), presented at numerous Phoenix Fire Department symposiums and was a member of the adjunct faculty for the Maricopa Community College District for over ten years.
Mark and his family have lived in north central Phoenix for many years where they currently reside with their two sons and three dogs.
