Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Members of Council Ask U.S. Department of Homeland Security to Extend DACA Renewal DeadlineMayor, Vice Mayor, and Members of Council Ask U.S. Department of Homeland Security to Extend DACA Renewal Deadline<div class="ExternalClass5AC3F77F678046AE887AC74EB00297B8"><div>Mayor Greg Stanton, along with Vice Mayor Laura Pastor, and Councilmembers Kate Gallego and Daniel Valenzuela, formally requested Wednesday that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security extend the Oct. 5 deadline for current DACA recipients to submit their renewal applications.</div><div> </div><div>The mayor and members of council signed a letter to Elaine C.
