Attention Artists and Arts AdvocatesAttention Artists and Arts Advocates<div class="ExternalClassE249743D6FB24FACBC37626DAFFC1040"><table cellspacing="0" width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:100%;"><p>The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, in partnership with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, is seeking professional artists nationwide to create a series of art projects for new Sky Train Stage 2 stations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PSHIA). The projects include multiple opportunities for artworks integrated into the platforms, walls, weather screens, and other architectural features. The works will be a focal point for passengers on the Sky Train extensions linking PSHIA airport terminals, and Rental-Car Center with the city's light rail line. These opportunities are open nationally to artists with proven design team experience and a record of accomplishment in creating signature artworks. Professional artists living in Arizona are encouraged to apply. <strong>Deadline to Apply: July 28, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. (MST)</strong></p><p><strong>How to Apply:  </strong>Interested professional artists are asked to submit via email one current resume; a one-page letter of interest; a PowerPoint of up to ten (10) images of artwork demonstrating the ability to design, create, and install exemplary work; an annotated slide sheet; and contact information for three professional references. Professional artists are encouraged to apply. No experience with terrazzo or public art is required. The works will be a focal point of the Sky Train stations for travelers passing through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.  <strong>Deadline to Apply: July 24, 2017 at 5:00 P.M.
