Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture Invests Nearly $1 Million to Enhance the Quality of Life for Residents Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture Invests Nearly $1 Million to Enhance the Quality of Life for Residents <div class="ExternalClass3E971B26F2CA4A6A9901BF3AE5AD470A"><p>The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture is pleased to announce the recipients of the Community Arts Grants Program for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. This month the city of Phoenix will award a total of $940,346 in the form of 84 grants to 70 ​not-for-profit arts and culture organizations serving Phoenix residents through arts and culture services. This is an increase from last year — 72 grants were awarded to 60 organizations in 2018-2019.<br></p><p>Grant categories are A+CCESS I, A+CCESS II, A+CTION, Rental Support, Youth Arts Engagement, Arts Learning, and Festival Project grants.</p><p>Approved by the Phoenix Arts and Culture Commission in June and the Phoenix City Council on July 3, 2019, the funding allocation also includes an increase of $25,000 in dedicated grants for youth and underserved communities.
